WHAT ARE THESE??

These have been in our art room since I've arrived 5 years ago and we really don't know what they are exactly for.  My guess is that they are used to hold clay beads while being fired in the kiln?   What do you think???

I've seen them before, but can't put my finger on it...however, they would make great hangers for 3D space shuttles!

Haha! You know what I think they are? I think they are the pins used to hold together a turkey after it's been stuffed for a Thanksgiving meal... Seriously... they clearanced out packets of these at our local grocery store a few years ago and I bought them thinking that I could surely use them for something in my art room!

They look like turkey pins to me too, but I use them to make holes in clay beads, or to wind wire around for wire-wrap jewelry. BUT wait, do they have a loop at BOTH ends? That cancels out every idea I've come up with.
