Yes, I saw it. After the NAEA conference, when I posted about seeing Chuck Close, someone let a comment on my post claiming that because Close has this syndrome, and because of the way his artwork is done, that his paintings aren't really portraits because they have no 'soul', no emotion. I disagreed about the portrait opinion, and I still do, even after seeing the 60 Minutes piece. All very interesting, isn't it?
