I also enjoy this book, which is fun for scrapbookers. It is more like a booklet, but it has a lot of fun inspiration. If you are interested in looking at it, I found mine at Michael's craft store. So you can page through it before you buy it.
Wow, this is fantastic! I love the mix of doodles and collage, especially that little girl. Well done!
ReplyDeletevivid layers is a perfect name for your blog:)
ReplyDeleteHi - I just discovered your blog and as a compulsive doodler myself, I love your doodle collage. Very happy and free-spirited looking.
ReplyDeleteThe Oodles of Doodles book reminds me of a gift I sent last Christmastime. It was a book of doodle-starter placemats. It had a starting image for a child to add to (something to do while waiting for dinner?) but I sent the placemat pads to adults, not children. I think I confused them because they didn't comment on the gift. A shame, I think, because I know I would have LOVED it for myself!
Meri Cherry, Phyl and Mrs. Hahn, Thanks for your compliments! The doodle starter placemats sounds like a fun gift. I know I would like it :)
ReplyDeleteThese doodles are wonderful. I don't do enough of this myself. Do they still have those Ed Emberly books? My son used to love those. I thought they were a great way to get kids to break art down into pieces that made it
ReplyDeleteeasier to draw. I liked them too. And the un-coloring books too.
Thanks so much for your comments. xox Corrine
I don't know if Ed Emberly is still making books, but I used to love them as a kid!
ReplyDeleteI love the whimsy of this new collage doodle! It’s such a fun way to express creativity and explore different ideas. For those juggling their artistic endeavors with studying, it’s always an option to pay someone to take my teas exam, so you can focus on your doodling and let your imagination flow
ReplyDeleteThis new collage doodle is so vibrant and full of life! It’s amazing how such simple elements can come together to create something beautiful. If you’re enjoying this creative process but feeling overwhelmed with schoolwork, remember that you can pay someone to do my online math class to lighten your load and give you more time for fun projects like this
