Thanks! We used the black paint that came in the glass stain package. I think it is just regular acrylic paint though, that's what it appears to be. Mary, I have already discovered your blog, it is wonderful and I love all the art that you have posted!! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

Hi Pat! We actually bought the plexiglass from an Ace hardware store near our house. The guy there cut all the pieces for us (I'm not sure of the charge as the other art teacher that works at my school got all of these cut). The paint was used was the kind that you can use for those suncatchers. We used these: http://www.enasco.com/product/9727778 and these: http://www.enasco.com/product/9725029C
